1. We can get results. We have a growing list of patients who were incorrectly told by other providers that they had no other options or that they could not be cured or treated further. Some patients with stage 4 cancer can be cured, but it requires the right patient, the right situation, and the right treatment. If there is even a small chance of cure or remission, we will let you know if it exists and how to get there. We see many patients who received prior treatment from MD Anderson and were told there is no further treatment possible. Obtaining another opinion is important with decisions of life and death. We are not afraid to get creative with the incorporation of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation treatment, and interventional radiology procedures.
2. We believe that alternative therapies can work. While we do not prescribe or recommend specific alternative therapies, we have seen patients whose cancer has grown more slowly than expected or even not grown at all for as long as 12 months without standard treatment. We have worked with providers who provide IPT (insulin-potentiated therapy), and have seen that treatment work many times. We are familiar with the R.G.C.C. test aka the "Greece test", and are willing to take that information in consideration when making treatment decisions.
